APM (Project Fundamentals Qualification) is an introductory certificate into the world of Project Management. As an entry level course, PFQ training provides candidates with a good understanding of the basic tools and techniques used in the industry. APM PMQ (Project Management Qualification) is the next level up and will teach candidates how to apply this knowledge to their own projects and to understand the commercial and strategic environment in which projects sit. Developed by APM (Association for Project Management) the chartered body for project professional, these qualifications draw heavily from the APM Body of Knowledge.
What are the benefits of choosing the OnDemand learning option to gain your APM PFQ and PMQ qualifications? This APM OnDemand learning option is an alternative for those candidates that would like to sit the live (virtual) classroom course option but do not have the time to spend doing this, with a few more additional benefits. Firstly, if you wish to study APM PFQ or PMQ in a classroom but would like to study in bite sized chunks due to your current circumstances and schedule then you can, because you receive 6 months access with each course you book. You can also revisit any of the recordings at any time if you feel you have not fully understood the session. However, like the (virtual) classroom setting, you will see the trainer presenting using the standard whiteboard and also watch your virtual classmates feedback with any questions. One additional benefit is that if you do have any follow up questions, then we will still provide trainer feedback and support should you need it. You can even take your exams online too!
APM-PFQ OnDemand and APM-PMQ OnDemand have now been assigned a new study requirement by APM for candidates that wish to become accredited. Candidates must achieve a number of 'Guided Learning' (directly supervised training ) in addition to the direct learning (OnDemand) hours. Details of our new 'Blended' packages which now include all the required hours of both 'guided learning' and 'directed learning'. See below for details. Guided learning in this instance means 'directly supervised live training.' For PFQ this requirement is 13 hours and for PMQ this is 32 hours. See packages below. For those wishing to study APM without the exam or wish to top up their existing guided learning, we also have exam study options without exam.
Our accredited APM PFQ and PMQ courses can also be used to support your claim for up to 30 Category-C PDUs for the PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements Scheme (CCRS).
