APM Learning directive: APM Learning directive: APM have rolled out a new study directive which affects any candidates wishing to sit either the APM PFQ or the APM PMQ exams. The new study directive has minimum study time requirements for both exams. Each candidate will need to fulfil minimum study time for both 'directed' and 'guided' learning before sitting their exam. Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) is the entry level APM training certificate (SCQF level 6).
What is assessed? Elements of the project management life cycle covered by the 'APM Competance Framework' that have now been integrated into APM courses such as planning and scheduling, communication, teamwork, resource management, project risk management and project reviews.
Who is this for: Candidates with little or no prior experience that wish to gain a broad understanding of how projects are run.
The APM PFQ exam: 1 hour exam with 60 multiple choice questions.
