PRINCE2 Agile® has a two-tier qualification structure and is aimed at supporting PRINCE2® project members working in an agile environment. The new Foundation qualification allows those without prior knowledge of project management to achieve entry into PRINCE2 Agile®. Those with prior certification (PRINCE2® Foundation or Practitioner, PMP, CAPM, IPMA Level A/B/C/D) are able to sit just the Practitioner exam, although we would recommend to sit the entire course in order to refresh your knowledge of PRINCE2® terms and structure. PRINCE2 Agile® is seen very much as an extension unit for PRINCE2® .
There are two levels of exam within PRINCE2 Agile®. The Foundation exam aims to confirm the candidate can recall knowledge of the method by answering 50 multiple-choice questions in a one-hour closed-book exam paper. The Practitioner exam is aiming to measure whether a candidate could apply Agile approaches within a project management environment such as PRINCE2. The exam is a 2.5-hour, open book exam of 50 Objective Test questions.
