We are very proud indeed to announce that we celebrate 25 years in the training industry this week, making us one of the longest standing Accredited Training Organisations for project and programme management that there is.
Now we can proudly say that for 25 years we have been providing first rate classroom, e-Learning and more recently ONLIVE Virtual Classroom training to delegates from all over the world, delivering over 10,000 courses in over 100 countries.
We are not only one of the longest standing organisations but are also pioneers when it comes to training, being the first company to deliver some of the most universal project and programme approaches, including PRINCE2® and MSP®.
Says SPOCE MD Paul Bradley “There are not many training organisations that can add a 25-year history to its achievements. We are proud of this, and of the contribution to the project management training world we have made over the years. As well as being the first organisation in the world to deliver some of our most tried and tested project and programme management training courses, we like to think that we have made a really positive impact in other ways too, by providing first class training and ongoing support to our delegates and clients throughout the years.”
Three generations of the Bradley family have now passed through SPOCE's doors. Founder Ken Bradley set up SPOCE way back in 1994 and was the UKs foremost trainer and UK consultant on PRINCE2 when it was developed back in 1997. Paul Bradley, SPOCE MD also picked up the PRINCE2 bug and is himself is a published author on the subject bringing us 'The PRINCE2 Examinations Assistant' and 'PRINCE2 - The Project Managers Guide.' He continues to share his expertise on PRINCE2 and project management in general, with regular contributions to official materials and speaker slots at major project management events.
Over the years SPOCE Project Management has seen many changes in the project and programme management training world. From the origins of PRINCE as one of the first dedicated approaches for large scale IT projects, then later PRINCE2 with its scalability and flexibility, able to be applied to any organisation and any industry. An array of complemetary approaches to projects and programmes have come our way before and since. Finally in 2017, we all witnessed the establishment of project management as a chartered industry being given the professional kudos it deserves with APM (Association for Project Management) becoming an official 'chartered body' for the industry.
We have seen much come and go in this time and intend to be here in another 25 years celebrating our Golden Anniversary ...perhaps even talking abut the latest innovation to PRINCE2.
