The new look and feel of the APM identity comes in line their 50th year in the industry and so it quite a fitting time for a change. It has also been quite a number of years (2005) since their last rebrand. To explain what this change means to APM delegates we have summarised some of the main questions that they answer with regard to the brand change.
The main change, you will notice is the new look and feel, including a new logo and colour palette. The crown symbol in the new logo also represents their chartered status. APM are the only project management organisation in the world to be appointed this status, an accolade that warrants being celebrated. It also means that if you become a chartered project manager then you have achieved the highest status possible for the profession.
Green was chosen to represent success, as the green light for 'go'. The line running through the branding signifies the progress and sense of connection that a project has.
Progressive, Thoughtful, Warm and Excellent
The name APM (Association for Project Management)
The products and services they offer. The look and feel may be very different, such as the look of digital badges, but the products themselves will remain the same. So, for any delegates studying APM in the coming months, there are no changes to your certifications and how you study for them.
